University of
Alberta

The University of Alberta is one of Canada’s leading research institutions, with thousands of students, faculty, and researchers using its facilities every day. Each space on campus has a unique purpose — from collaborative group study areas to lecture halls, specialized labs, and event venues.

Creative Programming partnered with the University of Alberta to deliver reliable Crestron programming and intuitive user interfaces tailored to the unique requirements of each space. Our goal was to create a consistent, easy-to-use experience while respecting the specialized needs of different departments and facilities.

Our work can be found across a wide variety of locations on campus, including:

  • Cameron Library — Digital Scholarship Centre (DSC)
  • Donadeo Innovation Centre for Engineering (ICE)
  • Student’s Union Building (SUB)
  • Clinical Sciences
  • General Services Building (GSB)
  • Arts Building
  • Enterprise Square

By combining standardized, user-friendly controls with reliable programming, we help ensure that students, staff, and researchers can focus on learning and discovery — not on troubleshooting technology.
