PCL is a leading group of independent construction companies with operations across Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, and Australia. With a presence in 31 major centers and an annual construction volume of $8.3 billion, PCL is the largest contracting organization in Canada and one of the largest in North America. Their Edmonton-based North American Headquarters required a solution to efficiently manage a wide variety of spaces, from meeting and conference rooms to auditoriums, studios, and executive boardrooms.

The challenge for them was twofold: first, staff needed to know in real time when rooms were available or in use. Second, every space required a standardized, intuitive interface so anyone could operate it without needing to consult a manual.

Creative Programming collaborated closely with PCL and Crestron staff to implement Crestron Fusion, integrating smart hardware and software to meet these needs. We created a single, consistent touchpanel interface that allows staff and management to control any room reliably and easily, regardless of its type or size.

The result is a streamlined, user-friendly system that maximizes room utilization and improves productivity. Staff can confidently operate any space without confusion, while management gains clear insight into room availability and scheduling — ensuring the facility is running at peak efficiency.
